The Martinique Flag consists of a green/black horizontal divide intersected by a red triangle at the hoist. These colors have been used by labor movements in Martinique since the 60's. Today, the rouge-vert-noir is the preferred symbol of advocates for the decolonization and independence of Martinique, and in 2023 was selected as their state flag. The flag is finished with a sturdy white canvas heading and grommets. See below for material options. This flag is used by the Marshall Islands government and displayed at the U. N. Headquarters in New York.
