“North Georgia Celebration Night”

National FFA Week

The Gordon Lee High School FFA Alumni would like to announce an exciting event to take place during National FFA Week that happens February 22-29, 2020. To wrap up the week’s festivities, there will be a Celebration Night for Agriculture and young people interested in the many opportunities that this industry offers. The event will be held at the Walker County Civic Center in Rock Spring, Georgia located at 10052 North Hwy 27. Doors open at 5:30 pm and entertainment begins at 6 pm. Tickets are only $15 each.

The line up consists of Wesley Crider, an international thumb style guitar champion much like styles of Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed. Stephanie Nash, a 4th generation Farmer, Advocate for Agriculture and singer/songwriter from Nashville, TN. Kerry McCoy, a remarkable individual who will inspire both young and old with her words of encouragement from the experiences she has enjoyed through being the creator of FlagandBanner.com, Brave Magazine, Up In Your Business weekly radio show and podcast and the saving of a historical building such as the Dreamland Ballroom and many more accolades. Flag And Banner is one of the largest retailers of patriotic materials and Kerry McCoy is a huge supporter of our military and first responders. Our Headliner is Tim Moffet, “Tim, The Dairy Farmer”, who will delight the crowd in humor from a life of growing up on his family farm in Florida. Mr. Mofett has been doing comedy for over 20 years, yet when home, still works the cattle and lives a lifestyle so many don’t know their missing out on.

The Gordon Lee High School FFA Alumni would love to see you on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 6pm at the Walker County Civic Center in Rock Spring, Georgia for a Night of Celebration for the efforts of the FFA in North West Georgia. For more information, go to facebook.com/gordonleeffaalumni
