Little Rock, AR: On Tuesday, August 24th, Kerry McCoy will throw the first pitch as the Travelers host the Corpus Christi Hooks at Dickey Stephens Ball Park. McCoy is the owner of FlagandBanner.com and OurCornerMarket.com, host of Up In Your Business with Kerry McCoy radio show and podcast, and publisher of Brave Magazine. She purchased the Taborian Hall in the early 90s and is known among Arkansas preservationists for her renovation of that historic site. Born in North Little Rock, McCoy is honored to return to her home city for the ritual of throwing the first pitch to start the game. Said McCoy, “I was touched to be asked to participate in such a longstanding ceremony. It feels like, ‘hometown-girl-makes-good,’ and that kind of recognition is a powerful affirmation.
