Brazil Flags
The flag of the Federative Republic of Brazil depicts a star-filled sky in a yellow rhombus on a green field. Across the starry sky is a band with the national motto Ordem e Progresso, 'Order and Progress'. The colors of green and yellow are inherited from the preceding imperial flag, where they represented the houses of the first Emperor and Empress of Brazil. The star mirror a collection of constellations and represent the individual states that make up Brazil, while the motto is adapted from the motto of Auguste Comte: "Love as a principle and order as the basis; progress as the goal".
Adopted in 1889, the Auriverde was designed by Raimundo Teixeira Mendes, Miguel Lemos, Manuel Pereira Reis, and Décio Villares. Additional stars were added over the years to reflect the creation of new Federal Units in Brazil, with the latest update being in 1992.
We offer Brazil flags in a variety of sizes and styles, including miniature flags, outdoor flags, and indoor flags and kits; all made with high-quality materials.
