Benin Flags
The flag of the Republic of Benin consists of red and yellow bands with a green vertical band at the hoist. Green represents hope, red the courage of ancestors, and yellow the country's prosperity.
This flag was adopted in 1959 to replace the French Tricolour that the nation used as a French colony called Dahomey. In 1975, the government replaced the flag and changed the nation's name to Benin. A democracy was established in 1990, at which time the current flag design was re-adopted.
We offer Benin flags in a variety of sizes and styles, including miniature flags, outdoor flags, and indoor flags and kits; all made with high-quality materials.
