Dear Sir or Madame,

Last month I order and received the two adorable cocktail flags that are enclosed, one for myself and one for a friend. Since I mentioned this was something I wished to acquire, she preempted me and bought two also, one for each of us, and gave me mine a few days ago. I am bound by courtesy and affection to use the one she gave me, and so wish to return these charming objects, but wanted you to know that they are in no way defective, but rather quite perfect in their cheerful promise of a jolly evening, ashore on at sea.
