Madison Monroe, EditorIn the flag industry, it seems like most of the big, notable holidays are celebrated in the spring and summer: Memorial Day, Flag Day and Independence Day. Memorial Day gives us the opportunity to contemplate the courageous lives that have preceded our own. In this edition of Brave, we have two stories that include unusual memorial monuments, “Fearless Rock” and “The Angel of Grief.”

We also chronicle a story of courageously optimistic love during the World War II era in the story “I Love You…Be Careful.” And the death defying mission of USS Razorback will have you on the edge of your seat!

Of course, it wouldn’t be summer if you didn’t hear someone say “I’m bored.” We have your rebuttal to that age old lament in our Travel, Sports and Holiday pages. We also took the boring out of TV and movies with a new ‘I Spy’ game that the whole family can play.

We would like to extend our gratitude to North Little Rock for inviting us to explore all the fun and entertainment she has to offer for Spring and Summer 2015. We hope you have the same good time we did discovering the treasures along the Arkansas River.
