Preparing for a Parade or Ceremony?

According to the rules and customs in the Flag Code (Public Law 94-344), the United States flag, when carried in a procession or with another flag or flags, should be either on the marching right; that is the flag's own right, or, if there is a line of other flags, in front of the center of that line...just thought you'd like to know. | |
Snap Hooks 101: Installation
Measure the distance between the grommets on your flag. This will be the same distance between the snap hooks on the rope. Make sure the knot, or any other flaw in the rope that would prevent the rope from threading through the pulley, is at the bottom of the rope circle and the snap hooks are close to the top.
- Slip a loop through the eye of the snap.
- Put the loop over the top of the snap.
- Draw rope tight.
